For years, Apple built its empire on loud slogans about absolute user privacy and data security. But now, the mask is finally coming off. Under the guise of “child protection,” the tech giant has quietly but aggressively implemented a new, totalitarian age verification system that will turn your iPhone into a personal interrogator. As leaked information and facts collected by journalist Michał Mielnik show, soon your phone will literally require you to photograph your ID card or bank details, or you will be ruthlessly disconnected from essential digital services. Prepare yourself – the digital concentration camp is already being tested and is inexorably approaching Europe.
iOS 26.4: A “Trojan Horse” Demanding Your Passport
Users in the United Kingdom are already experiencing this shock firsthand. After installing the latest “iOS 26.4 beta” version, they were suddenly confronted with brutal smartphone blackmail. Unambiguous messages appeared on their screens, demanding official proof of their age, with a threat that those under 18 (or those who haven’t verified their identity) would simply “not be able to download, purchase, or make in-app purchases.” This is not a bug – it’s an official and deeply integrated agreement between the UK government and Apple, designed to absolutely control what services and websites you are allowed to access.
The verification mechanism is designed to leave no loopholes for your anonymity.
First, the system aggressively scans your payment method linked to your Apple account. If you don’t have one or it doesn’t appear credible enough for the algorithm, the system moves to the next level – it openly demands you add a photo of your physical credit card. If you still try to resist, your iPhone will eventually require you to directly scan your government-issued ID.
Global Testing and Manipulation in Games
Don’t fool yourself into thinking this is just an isolated whim of the British government. More and more regions worldwide are dictating new rules of the game, and Apple is obediently complying, betraying its users. In an official announcement, the company has already openly presented its age verification tools, which will initially be forcibly implemented in Australia, Brazil, and Singapore, as well as in two US states – Utah and Louisiana – as test grounds.

The App Store will perform most of this police check automatically, but Apple has also handed these tracking tools over to third-party app developers so they can further interrogate their users. The systems will classify you according to strict algorithms. For example, in Brazil, any app with so-called “loot box” mechanics – where you buy virtual lottery boxes with real money – will automatically receive an 18+ censorship rating, requiring you to provide your identity.
The Darkness Awaiting Europe: From Face Scanning to Digital Wallet
For now, Apple officially claims to refrain from behavioral analysis methods or direct facial scanning via camera, but this is only a matter of time. Other social media giants, such as TikTok, are already ruthlessly using artificial intelligence that estimates your age simply by observing what content you interact with and what comments you write. Your behavior is turned into your digital passport.
Although it is officially stated that “Poland and Lithuania are safe for now,” this is the most dangerous illusion. Currently, such aggressive verification is not yet mandatory in the European Union, but the bureaucratic machine has already been set in motion. The European Digital Identity Wallet, which is currently being actively pushed in Brussels, will in the future become precisely that mandatory, inescapable tool that will finally link your physical ID, your bank account, and your smartphone into one inseparable tracking chain.
The era of anonymity on the internet has ended, and corporations are now selling your freedom in exchange for government favor.
